im gonna clear up some things on the comment sections

– “twoset are using bp for success”
they don’t need bp’s help to be successful at all because they are already succesful themselves.

they’re literally one of the biggest classical music based channel on the platform and it was also deemed impossible to get popular by making cm content in today’s standards and yet they were able to do it + they don’t work under any big labels & they refused to do sponsorships, they work for themselves which makes it more impressive. they are the first classical musicians to host the menuhin competition, reach a million subscribers, do a classical + comedy recital, did talks with harvard and yale, and many more.

they’ve been recognized by tons of world class soloists and they have a huge impact in the classical music world, literally every person in the cm community knows about them + they’ve made loads of viral videos already, this isn’t their first taste of fame. not only that but they pretty much have a good orchestra career even before twoset, one of them even got to peform and meet obama.

just because you haven’t heard of them doesn’t make them successful, both bp and tsv have different brands and appeal to different audiences and alot of people are into kpop than classical music so that’s why bp is more popular.

there were more than 10-30k lined up over 600 seats and that was just the first minute the tickets were released. if it wasn’t for the site trafficking it would’ve been sold out within seconds + the concert is free anyways, it’s being livestreamed here on youtube and they average around 50-60k viewers per stream and that was when they were much smaller. they wanted to sell out some tickets for some fans to experience live because they are playing on golden age strads worth 10-15 million dollars (since there’s 2 it’s worth 20-30 million) and being able to play in a strad is a huge honor because only musicians that are highly respected and recognized the cm community get to play it, it’s not just given to some random guy who has money to afford it.

“they’re making fun of bp because they are women”

they’ve dissed so many people and idols and they equally diss people no matter their gender. they literally dissed henry lau, a male idol, in their recent virtual world tour by parodying his peformance as a way of showing eddy selling himself out to an agency. also they made loads of videos roasting and mocking people who butcher classical music + they’ve spoken out on misogyny and objectifying women before (the r21 video) and they know how unfairly women are being treated. also they have praised and respected alot of female musicians before.

they dont care about the gender, as long as they see someone doing something sacreligous relating to classical music, violin, music, etc.. it’s on their sight

it represents their fictional band b2tsm. and since mozart and paganini are there in the mv, it leaves shosty, bach, tchaik, and beethoven therefor 4 dogs.

there is a huge difference between souls and body (if you don’t understand take your time analysing the “my soul left my body” meme as a simplier explanation) they never said anything about bp selling their bodies only their souls. and in some cases it is actually true, like how paganini was rumored to sell his soul to the devil to gain amazing violin skills, alot of kpop idols do sell their soul in the industry in order to succeed and that is the dark truth about the kpop industry (some people in the comment section already explained it).

it’s a parody, go watch bart baker or something. and bp doesn’t own la campanella, paganini does. + this video isn’t monetized, they put this under niccolo paganini so they’re not getting any money from streams.

– this is all just an act/skit, it shows how paganini would react to bp using his piece like this if he was alive today (because he was a pretty cocky violinist from what i’ve heard) and the ending part shows mozart telling paganini that the shut down song isn’t about him which makes him walk away in embarassment and shame (the entire punchline of this video)

– twoset doesn’t care about the money or fame, they are simply doing what they love and that is making videos on youtube and spreading classical music all around. they risked their orchestra jobs to do twoset fulltime and they didn’t even care if they dont earn money from this + they’ve risked their health multiple times busking outside just to fundraise their own tour

– it is okay to be offended by this video, everyone has different opinions and views. what is not okay is defaming twoset by spreading misinfo and harrasing them, their friends, fanpages who did nothing, and everyone they are associated with that had nothing to do with the video. i’ve already seen people make homophobic, racist, overall dehumanizing comments to tsv and i’ve seen fans getting death threats from blinks for clearing up misinformation, i already saw one post saying that they would throw tomatoes at their concert and wishing that their concert would be bomed. also comments wishing their families deaths and telling them to h@ng/k!11 themselves.

if you hate them that’s fine but choosing kpop over morals is just not good.

– they’re also playing as composers who were dead like 300 hundred years ago and they are acting like how the composers would act like if they were modern popstars today. “seperate the actor from the character”

– i’ve also seen comments saying that bp brought classical music closer than twoset will ever do in their entire career, well it doesn’t seem to be working well because people don’t even know anything about paganini’s “selling his soul to the devil” story, how the classical music industry works, and some people think mozart and paganini are still alive. some people even think paganini copied shut down.
