This article is about how to View Dividend in the App:
Call the function in the Main Window
- Clears the current content in the main window.
- Creates an instance of
DividendsTable
, passinggoogle_sheets_client
as a parameter. - Adds the
DividendsTable
widget to the main content area for user interaction.
def display_dividents_form(self):
self.clear_content()
dividends_table = DividendsTable(self.google_sheets_client)
self.content.layout().addWidget(dividends_table)
Create the View Dividend Class
__init__
: Initializes the widget, sets up the Google Sheets client, and initializes the user interface.
class DividendsTable(QWidget):
def __init__(self, google_sheets_client):

self.initUI()

: Sets up the layout, including creating aQTableWidget
for displaying dividend data. The table is configured with specific columns, resizing policies, and selection behaviors.

loadData
: Loads dividend data from the Google Sheets worksheet named “04_Dividends”. It filters and sorts the data for the current quarter, maps column names to indices, and populates the table with this data.
def loadData(self):

get_current_quarter
: Calculates and returns the current quarter of the year. This method is used to filter the dividend data relevant to the current period.
def get_current_quarter(self):
